Texas High School Volleyball - Kilgore over Troup

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Kilgore Bulldogs (Kilgore, TX) and the host Troup Tigers (Troup, TX), observed Kilgore's volleyball team top Troup by a count of 2-0.

The Bulldogs (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Pleasant Grove was knocked off by Sunnyvale (Sunnyvale, TX), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigers battle the Beckville Bearcats (Beckville, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 19. Troup will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Bearcats enter the contest with a 6-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to West (West, TX).
