In Thursday's non-league battle, the host South Central Falcons volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Ayden - Grifton Chargers.
The Falcons (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Farmville Central (Farmville, NC). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Farmville Central nudged Hunt (Wilson, NC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Chargers clash with the Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, August 21. Ayden - Grifton will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Redskins come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC).
