The Ayden - Grifton Chargers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting South Central Falcons to 1 in the Chargers non-league victory on Monday.
The Chargers now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host SouthWest Edgecombe for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 12. Ayden - Grifton will meet a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to North Pitt (Bethel, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 3-4.
The Falcons (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Havelock (Havelock, NC). The Rams enter the non-league game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Havelock was nudged by Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC), 2-1, in a non-league game.
