In Thursday's non-league contest, the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC), by a margin of 2-1.
Next up, the Bears face the Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 26. Gray's Creek will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.
With the loss, Midway moves to 0-1 on the year. The Raiders travel to East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Monday, August 21. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 1-0.
