The Gray's Creek Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Midway Raiders to 1 in the Bears non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Bears now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Douglas Byrd for a non-league game on Thursday, September 28. Gray's Creek will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.
The Raiders (8-5) will now prepare for their game against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, St. Pauls was nudged by Clinton (Clinton, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
