    • North Carolina High School Volleyball - South Stanly nudged by Montgomery Central

    The South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls volleyball team (Norwood, NC), was nudged 3-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC)

    The Timberwolves (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Bearcats enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Anson nipped Albemarle (Albemarle, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

    Next, the Rowdy Rebel Bulls meet the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 21. South Stanly will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Providence (Charlotte, NC).
