North Carolina High School Volleyball - Montgomery Central over South Stanly

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) and the host South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC), saw Montgomery Central's volleyball squad beat South Stanly by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Montgomery Central upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Timberwolves host Forest Hills (Marshville, NC) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Forest Hills lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Parkwood (Monroe, NC)

The Rowdy Rebel Bulls now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Albemarle for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A bout on Tuesday, September 5. South Stanly will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.
