Georgia High School Volleyball - Union County Pickens

The Pickens Dragons volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Union County Panthers to 1 in the Dragons non-league victory on Thursday.

The Dragons now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lumpkin County for a 3A Area 7 game on Tuesday, August 22. Pickens will meet a Indians team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Banks County (Homer, GA). The Indians record now stands at 4-3.

The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Andrews (Andrews, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Andrews dropped by Highlands (Highlands, NC), 3-2, in a league game.
