The Los Fresnos Falcons volleyball squad (Los Fresnos, TX), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX)

With the win, Vela improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Sabercats travel to Rowe (McAllen, TX) to encounter the Warriors in a 5A Region IV District 31 battle on Saturday, August 17. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 5-2. Rowe won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX)

The Falcons now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McAllen for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 17. Los Fresnos will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.
