The Amplus Academy Archers (Las Vegas, NV) volleyball nudged the host Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Pirate (Henderson, NV), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Amplus Academy betters its record to 1-0 on the year. The Archers host Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV) to face the Longhorns in a non-league outing on Monday, August 22. The Longhorns go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
