The Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA) softball the host Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA), 14-10 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Pirates (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA). The Chiefs go into the non-league bout with a 5-2 record.

The Wildcats now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Eagle's Landing for a 5A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, August 23.
