The Locust Grove Wildcats softball team (Locust Grove, GA), was routed 12-6 in Wednesday's non-league test with the host Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA)

Coming up next, the Pirates clash with the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) in a 3A Region 2 test, on Tuesday, October 4. Pike County will attempt to improve on its 15-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 9-10 record after their 10-7 league win over Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA).

The Wildcats (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Dutchtown (Hampton, GA). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Region 2 test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Dutchtown was routed by Jones County (Gray, GA), 20-1, in a league test.
