Alabama High School Volleyball - Saraland over Baker

The Saraland Spartans (Saraland, AL) volleyball overcame the host Baker Hornets (Mobile, AL), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Saraland upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Spartans travel to St. Michael Catholic (Fairhope, AL) to face the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Friday, August 19. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 0-0.

The Hornets now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bryant for a 7A Area 1 outing on Saturday, August 20. Baker will face a Hurricanes squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Thomasville (Thomasville, AL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-1.
