The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the McMullen County Cowboys (Tilden, TX) and the visiting Falls City Beavers (Falls City, TX), saw McMullen County's volleyball squad nip Falls City by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, McMullen County upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Cowboys travel to Falls City (Falls City, TX) to play the Beavers in a non-league bout on Friday, September 1. The Beavers go into the bout with a record of 8-5.

The Beavers now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Yorktown for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 19. Falls City will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ganado (Ganado, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-6.
