Pueblo Central Wildcats (Pueblo, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Pueblo West Cyclones (Pueblo West, CO), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lamar for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 20. Pueblo Central will battle a Thunder squad coming off a 23-13 non-league win over Widefield (Colorado Springs, CO). The Thunder record now stands at 2-1.

In their next game, the Cyclones clash with the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans (Fountain, CO) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 20. Pueblo West will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
