Nevada High School Volleyball - GV Christian over Awaken Christian

The GV Christian Guardians (Henderson, NV) volleyball overcame the host Awaken Christian Lions (Las Vegas, NV), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, GV Christian upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Guardians travel to Moapa Valley (Overton, NV) to face the Pirates in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 19. The Pirates go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Moapa Valley lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Centennial (Las Vegas, NV)

The Lions now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to American Heritage Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 22.
