Next up, the Panthers battle the Owensboro Red Devils (Owensboro, KY) in a District 9 contest, on Thursday, August 24. Daviess County will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record.

With the loss, Grayson County moves to 2-5 on the year. The Cougars host Trinity (Whitesville, KY) to battle the Raiders in a District 12 contest on Tuesday, August 22. The Raiders go into the contest with a record of 6-2. Trinity won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY)
