New Mexico High School Soccer - Valley nudges Manzano

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Valley Vikings soccer squad scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Manzano Monarchs.

The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Atrisco Heritage Academy got by Sandia (Albuquerque, NM), 1-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Monarchs play the Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, August 23. Manzano will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Huskies go into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM).
