In Tuesday's non-league test, the Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA) softball squad got by the visiting Cook Hornets (Adel, GA), by a tally of 4-3.
Next, the Blue Devils clash with the Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) in a 6A Region 1 outing, on Tuesday, August 26. Tift County will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record.
With the loss, Cook moves to 8-1 on the season. The Hornets host Crisp County (Cordele, GA) to encounter the Cougars in a 2A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, August 26. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 3-3.
