Georgia High School Softball - Jenkins bested by Islands

August 19, 2025: Savannah, GA 31406

The Islands Sharks routed the host Jenkins Warriors softball team by a margin of 15-6 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Sharks now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvary Day for a 3A Region 3 battle on Thursday, August 21. Islands will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 14-1 league loss to Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Jenkins moves to 0-7 on the season. The Warriors travel to Liberty County (Hinesville, GA) to confront the Panthers in a 3A Region 3 challenge on Thursday, August 21. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Liberty County lost 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Long County (Ludowici, GA)
