Georgia High School Softball - Jenkins bested by Islands

The Islands Sharks triumphed over the host Jenkins Warriors softball squad by a count of 27-17 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Sharks meet the Calvary Day Cavaliers (Savannah, GA) in a 3A Region 3 challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Islands will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Cavaliers come into the battle with a 0-12 record after their 17-0 league loss to Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA).

With the loss, Jenkins moves to 3-15 on the season. The Warriors travel to Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA) to confront the Raiders in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 24. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 4-6. Savannah Christian lost 11-0 in their recent league battle against Vidalia (Vidalia, GA)
