The Walton Raiders edged the visiting North Paulding Wolfpack softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Coming up next, the Raiders confront the Wheeler Wildcats (Marietta, GA) in a 6A Region 5 battle, on Thursday, August 21. Walton will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Cass (White, GA).
With the loss, North Paulding moves to 1-4 on the season. The Wolfpack travel to Etowah (Woodstock, GA) to meet the Eagles in a 6A Region 5 challenge on Thursday, August 21. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Etowah won 19-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Carver (Atlanta, GA)
