In Tuesday's league test, the Spalding Jaguars (Griffin, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA), by a tally of 7-0.

The Jaguars now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitewater for a 3A Region 2 outing on Thursday, August 21. Spalding will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 4-2 league win over Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Sandy Creek moves to 3-4 on the season. The Patriots travel to Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA) to clash with the Tigers in a 3A Region 2 test on Thursday, August 21. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 1-6. Fayette County lost 11-4 in their recent non-league test against Union Grove (McDonough, GA)
