North Carolina High School Volleyball - Polk County winner over R-S Central

In Tuesday's non-league match, the Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) volleyball squad overcame the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Wolverines battle the Asheville Christian Academy Lions (Swannanoa, NC) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, August 27. Polk County will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 8-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC).

With the loss, R-S Central drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Crest (Shelby, NC) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 21. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 0-4.
