Nebraska High School Softball - Holdrege-Adams Central holds off Lexington

Holdrege-Adams Central Storm (Holdrege, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Storm now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lexington for a B District 9 challenge on Tuesday, August 23. Holdrege-Adams Central will battle a Minutemen squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE). The Minutemen record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Lexington falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE) to battle the Swedes in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 20. The Swedes enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Gothenburg won 14-3 in their recent non-league challenge against McCook (McCook, NE)
