With the win, West Stanly improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Colts travel to South Stanly (Norwood, NC) to face the Rowdy Rebel Bulls in a non-league test on Thursday, August 22. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls go into the contest with a record of 3-0.

Next, the Comets battle the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, August 26. North Stanly will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Ragin' Bulls enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
