The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA) and the host LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA), observed Whitewater's softball team get by LaGrange by a tally of 2-1.

The Wildcats (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Northgate (Newnan, GA). The Vikings go into the non-league bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, Northgate tipped McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA), 7-6, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Grangers clash with the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) in a 3A Region 2 bout, on Thursday, August 22. LaGrange will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 12-0 league loss to Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA).
