Georgia High School Softball - Spalding bounces Sandy Creek

The crowd at Tuesday's league outing between the Spalding Jaguars (Griffin, GA) and the visiting Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA), witnessed Spalding's softball team overcome Sandy Creek by a margin of 17-0.

The Jaguars now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitewater for a 3A Region 2 outing on Thursday, August 22. Spalding will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Northgate (Newnan, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Sandy Creek moves to 3-4 on the season. The Patriots travel to Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA) to encounter the Tigers in a 3A Region 2 outing on Thursday, August 22.
