In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Johnson Central Golden Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Belfry Pirates.
The Golden Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Floyd Central was beaten by Knott County Central (Hindman, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates meet the Pikeville Panthers (Pikeville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 22. Belfry will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Floyd Central (Eastern, KY).
