South Ripley Raiders (Versailles, IN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Milan Indians (Milan, IN), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, South Ripley moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Raiders host Shawe Memorial (Madison, IN) to play the Hilltoppers in a Ohio River Valley outing on Wednesday, August 27. The Hilltoppers go into the outing with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Indians play the Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN) in a Ohio River Valley outing, on Thursday, August 28. Milan will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Rebels go into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 2-2 non-league Madison (Madison, IN).
