With the triumph, Cedar Grove improves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Saints travel to Riverdale (Riverdale, GA) to battle the Raiders in a 3A Region 5 bout on Tuesday, August 26. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Riverdale lost 22-18 in their recent non-league bout against KIPP Atlanta Collegiate (Atlanta, GA)

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA) in a 3A Region 5 contest, on Tuesday, August 26. Stephenson will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 1-0 league win over Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA).
