Ballard Memorial Bombers (Barlow, KY) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Community Christian Warriors (Paducah, KY), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bombers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary (Paducah, KY). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Mary lost by McCracken County (Paducah, KY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors play the Highlands Latin Highlanders (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Community Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Doss (Louisville, KY).
