In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Geneva Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the New Brockton Gamecocks.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Goshen (Goshen, AL). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Gamecocks meet the Opp Bobcats (Opp, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. New Brockton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Pleasant Home (Andalusia, AL).
