Greene County Wildcats (Leakesville, MS) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Wayne County War Eagles (Waynesboro, MS), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Greene County improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS) to face the Aggies in a Class 4A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, August 26. The Aggies come into the challenge with a record of 5-4.

Next, the War Eagles meet the Quitman Panthers (Quitman, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 25. Wayne County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
