The Greene County Wildcats topped the visiting Wayne County War Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Wildcats face the Richton Rebels (Richton, MS) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 7. Greene County will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Rebels go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to North Forrest (Hattiesburg, MS).
The War Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Meridian (Meridian, MS). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Meridian gained a win over Quitman (Quitman, MS), 3-0, in a non-league game.
