The Groves Rebels volleyball squad (Garden City, GA), dropped 2-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA)

The Atomsmashers (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Jenkins (Savannah, GA). The Warriors enter the 3A Area 3 contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Jenkins notched a victory over Memorial Day (Savannah, GA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rebels encounter the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets (Brooklet, GA) in a 3A Area 3 battle, on Thursday, August 28. Groves will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
