The Toombs County Bulldogs softball team (Lyons, GA), was routed 6-0 in Tuesday's league test with the host Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA)
Coming up next, the Pirates encounter the Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) in a 2A Region 3 test, on Thursday, August 24. Appling County will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Bears enter the test with a 4-3 record after their 10-2 league loss to Brantley County (Nahunta, GA).
