The Toombs County Bulldogs softball team (Lyons, GA), was routed 3-0 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA)

Coming up next, the Pirates encounter the Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) in a 2A Region 3 test, on Thursday, September 14. Appling County will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Bears enter the test with a 7-7 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Long County (Ludowici, GA).

The Bulldogs (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Vidalia (Vidalia, GA). The Indians enter the 2A Region 3 test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Vidalia tipped Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA), 8-0, in a league test.
