In Tuesday's league contest, the Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS), by a margin of 3-1.
Next up, the Hawks battle the Long Beach Bearcats (Long Beach, MS) in a Class 5 Region 7 contest, on Thursday, August 24. Hancock will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Bearcats come into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS).
With the loss, George County drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Rebels host West Harrison (Gulfport, MS) to battle the Hurricanes in a Class 5 Region 7 contest on Thursday, August 24. The Hurricanes come into the contest with a record of 7-2. West Harrison won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Picayune (Picayune, MS)
