The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) and the host George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS), saw Hancock's volleyball squad beat George County by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Hancock upgrades its record to 19-6 on the year. The Hawks travel to West Harrison (Gulfport, MS) to play the Hurricanes in a Class 5 Region 7 bout on Thursday, September 21. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 12-9.

The Rebels now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Pascagoula for a Class 6 Region 7 bout on Thursday, September 21. George County will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Long Beach (Long Beach, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 2-15.
