The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) and the host West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY), saw Lewis County's volleyball squad beat West Carter by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Lewis County upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Lions host Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY) to play the Black Devils in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 23. The Black Devils go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Robertson County lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY)

The Comets now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Rose Hill Christian for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 24. West Carter will play a Royals squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY). The Royals record now stands at 3-4.
