In Thursday's league outing, the host Manti Templars soccer squad scored a nice 12-0 victory over the Emery Spartans.

The Templars (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Millard (Fillmore, UT). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Millard was overwhelmed by Rowland Hall (Salt Lake City, UT), 4-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Spartans play the North Sanpete Hawks (Mt. Pleasant, UT) in a 3A Region 12 outing, on Tuesday, August 27. Emery will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Hawks go into the outing with a 1-4 record after their 7-1 league loss to Canyon View (Cedar City, UT).
