In Thursday's league challenge, the host Lafayette Commodores volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Corinth Warriors.
The Commodores (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Warriors meet the Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 24. Corinth will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Lafayette (Oxford, MS).
