The Lafayette Commodores prevailed the host Corinth Warriors volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Monday's league game.
Next up, the Commodores confront the Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) in a Class 5A Region 1 game, on Tuesday, September 10. Lafayette will attempt to advance on its 13-8 season record.
The Warriors (7-19) will now prepare for their game against New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Trojans enter the Class 5A Region 1 game with a 11-17 record. In their last game, New Hope gained a win over Caledonia (Caledonia, MS), 2-0, in a non-league game.
