The St. Patrick Fighting Irish prevailed the host Tylertown Chiefs volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Fighting Irish confront the Our Lady Academy Crescents (Bay St. Louis, MS) in a Class 3A Region 8 game, on Tuesday, August 27. St. Patrick will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record. The Crescents enter the game with a 16-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS).
The Chiefs (0-12) will now prepare for their game against West Marion (Foxworth, MS). The Trojans enter the Class 3A Region 8 game with a 9-3 record.
