The Fighting Irish (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Our Lady Academy (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Crescents enter the Class 3A Region 8 contest with a 24-3 record.

Next, the Chiefs meet the West Marion Trojans (Foxworth, MS) in a Class 3A Region 8 contest, on Thursday, September 12. Tylertown will attempt to move on its 1-16 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 15-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Columbia (Columbia, MS).
