Canute Trojans (Canute, OK) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Arnett Wildcats (Arnett, OK), 11-7 in a league game.

With the triumph, Canute upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Trojans travel to Hammon (Hammon, OK) to play the Warriors in a Class B game on Tuesday, August 26. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 2-7.

The Wildcats now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Granite for a Class B game on Saturday, August 23. Arnett will play a squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Leedey (Leedey, OK). The record now stands at 3-3.
