The West Anchorage Eagles volleyball squad (Anchorage, AK), was edged 1-0 in Friday's non-league game with the host Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK)

Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 22. Bettye Davis East Anchorage will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record.
