Texas High School Volleyball - Katy Taylor over Fort Bend Austin

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Katy Taylor Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs.

The Mustangs (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Flour Bluff beat Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Langham Creek Lobos (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 22. Fort Bend Austin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Lobos enter the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX).
