North Carolina High School Volleyball - Palisades Mountain Island Charter

Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mountain Island Charter improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Raptors travel to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to face the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, August 22. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 2-5. Sun Valley lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC)

The Pumas now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charlotte Latin for a non-league test on Friday, August 22. Palisades will face a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC). The Hawks record now stands at 7-0.
